On The Legislature This Week, Dels. Johnathan Pinson, R-Mason, and Hollis Lewis, D-Kanawha, tell us about the West Virginia Legislature’s perennial work on child protective and foster care services. We also get a look at both chambers’ first pass at the state budget.
We’ll hear about some of the first bills to complete the legislative process, including bills to help small businesses receive funding and facilitate using food as medicine. And, we’ll get a look at some community advocacy at the Capitol for smoking cessation funding.
