On this West Virginia Morning, it’s been a year-and-a-half since Hurricane Helene ravaged Central Appalachia. Communities are still recovering, including those who were already in recovery for addiction. Blue Ridge Public Radio’s Katie Myers has more.

Also, at least one of West Virginia’s too-close-to-call primary races will go to a recount.

And, new reporting shows that renewable energy is growing across the country with some surprising states leading the way.

Finally, a 70-acre stretch of land in Upshur County will be transformed into a multi-purpose recreational complex, thanks to multiple grants and a generous gift.
