A Different Backyard Brawl And An Appalachian Playwright, This West Virginia Morning

Listen

On this West Virginia Morning, along with this weekend’s game between top rivals WVU and Pitt, Gov. Patrick Morrisey is promoting a different kind of backyard brawl. He says the stakes are high and it’s a game West Virginia needs to win.

And, a playwright best known for folk tales that featured a scrappy protagonist many in Appalachia might identify with.
