International Business Seminar to be Hosted by W.Va. State

The West Virginia State University Economic Development Center will host a seminar for business owners interested in expanding their customer base internationally.

The seminar is scheduled for Wednesday.

According to the West Virginia Department of Commerce, since 2002, West Virginiaexports have increased from $2.2 billion to $7.4 billion.

At the seminar, state and federal panelists will outline the resources available to companies for adding and expanding export sales, followed by a question and answer session. Attendees can discuss their desire to add export sales for revenue expansion or share their business export experiences.

The seminar costs $10, and registration is required by visiting wvsuedc.org. Registrants can attend at the EDC or choose to watch a live stream online.
