Thursday night, Sylvia Mathews Burwell will receive the annual Spirit of the Mountains Award from the Youth Leadership Association at a reception to be held at the Governor’s Mansion in Charleston. An interview with Rabbi Victor Urecki continues our series on the Jewish experience in West Virginia, as he tells the story of what brought him to Charleston and the B’Nai Jacob Synagogue 28 years ago.
