Country music’s reigning honky-tonk queen, Margo Price, performs “Hurtin’ (on the Bottle)” from this week’s encore broadcast of Mountain Stage with Larry Groce.
When this segment orginally aired, Price was on the heels of her appearance on Saturday Night Live after receiving near-universal praise for her breakthrough release “Midwest Farmer’s Daughter.”
Now, less than 18 months later, Price is one of the hottest touring acts in any genre, having just performed three nights at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium.
This week’s broadcast also features performances from Dead Man Winter (featuring Dave Simonett of Trampled By Turtles), The Company Stores, Jonny Fritz and Solas.
