James Monroe High Teacher Pleads No Contest

A former James Monroe High School teacher has pleaded no contest to contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Jamie Lynn Snider was accused of buying beer for a minor in February.

She entered her plea on Tuesday before Monroe County Magistrate Kevin Miller. Miller sentenced Snider to 24 hours in jail with credit for time served, so she was free to go following the hearing.

Snider has resigned her position as a vocational agriculture instructor at James Monroe.
