The Cass Scenic Railroad in Pocahontas County is offering holiday train rides.

The “Elf Limited” train will debut on Nov. 25 and run through Dec. 11 on a recently repaired section of track next to the Greenbrier River.

Media outlets report actors from the Old Brick Playhouse in Elkins will provide entertainment that will include visits from Santa and his elves.

The cost is $47 for riders 12 and older, $41 for riders 4 to 11 years old, and free for children 3 and younger.

The Elf Limited run is in addition to the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad’s popular Polar Express trains that run from the Elkins Depot to Belington. The 50-day Polar Express event is sold out.
