“We can’t take any more cuts without having some sort of fatalistic impacts,” he said in an interview with Ashton Marra on West Virginia Morning.
For example, the state could lose millions in federal money if it can’t properly track and manage education funds.
“At a time when there’s great economic stress,” he said, “great leaders never cut education, because education is the road forward during those rough economic times.”
