School Nutritionists Prepare To Serve Healthy, Less Colorful Meals

As an estimated 240,000 students head to class in some 630 schools across the state, they might notice something missing from their favorite cafeteria foods: color. A new law, passed by the West Virginia Legislature earlier this year and signed into law by Gov. Patrick Morrisey, bans certain artificial dyes that make foods more appealing but not necessarily healthier.
