Mountain Stage and Budget Tapes & Records are partnering to give Charleston-area music lovers a preview of new releases from upcoming Mountain Stage guest artists. The event is free and will be held Thursday, April 28 from 5-7 p.m.
Join us April 28, 2016 from 5-7pm at Budget Tapes & Records in Charleston to preview new music from artists scheduled to appear on Mountain Stage in the coming months, including Lucius, Brett Dennen, Lake Street Dive, Elephant Revival, Hayes Carll, Parker Millsap and more.
We’ll have door prizes, special announcements and the opportunity to purchase tickets to upcoming shows. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

On July 28, 2022 — the day of the flood — James and Ruby Boggs had about four and a half feet of water rushing through their two-story house. They live in an old coal camp called Millstone. It sits on the North Fork of the Kentucky River, and it was one of the communities hit hard by the flood.
