This week marks the rebroadcast of our landmark 1,000th episode of Mountain Stage, and our musical guests are worthy of such a momentous occasion. Slide-guitar master Sonny Landreth and legend of the dobro and lap steel Cindy Cashdollar perform a fiery duo set that should be heard to be believed.

During her third appearance on Mountain Stage, she performed a handful of original songs and covers from her latest release, The Golden Heart Protector. Our Song of the Week is a stripped-down version of her original song “Get Back,” which appears on her 2023 album, Echo the Diamond.
