Stephen Marshall (S. Marshall) Wilson is the Constitution Party candidate for the 2026 West Virginia U.S. Senate race. He is originally from Beaufort, South Carolina. A former member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, Wilson represented Berkeley County’s 60th District from 2016-2020. He did not run for reelection in 2020. He also served as the chair of the House Veterans Affairs Committee and as chair of the Select Committee on Veterans’ Affairs during legislative interim meetings. In 2019, Wilson switched from the Republican Party to West Virginia’s Constitution Party. Wilson is a retired combat veteran U.S. Infantry officer with more than two decades of service. He also trained pastors of tribal village churches in the Peruvian Amazon. Wilson earned a master’s degree in National Security and is currently pursuing a doctorate of Statecraft and Security.
