Rickey W. ?Ric? Griffith is the Democratic candidate for the West Virginia House of Delegates in District 27, which covers parts of Wayne County. Griffith was born in Kenova and earned a bachelor?s degree from the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy in 1975.
Griffith is a pharmacist and owner of Griffith & Feil Drug in Kenova, a family business with a history dating to the late 19th century. He has worked at the pharmacy since 1976 and continues to work there part-time. Griffith has served two terms as mayor and two terms as president of the Kenova City Council.
Griffith previously served in the West Virginia House of Delegates. He was elected to the House in 2020 and later represented District 27 from 2022 through 2024. He chose not to seek reelection in 2024 and instead ran for the state Senate?s fifth district, where he lost the general election.
Griffith is also known for the annual Pumpkin House display at his Kenova home, which has become a regional Halloween attraction.
