Mike Hornby is a Republican member of the West Virginia House of Delegates representing the 93rd District in Berkeley County. First elected in 2022, Hornby is seeking another term in the House, where he serves on several committees related to education, judiciary matters, legal services, and legislative rules.
Originally from Chiredzi, Zimbabwe, Hornby made a career in publishing, media, and communications, and serves as the owner of several businesses in the Eastern Panhandle.
In the Legislature, Hornby has sponsored and supported legislation related to education, economic development, taxation, and government operations. During the 2026 legislative session, he served as the lead sponsor of several bills, including proposals focused on aerospace and advanced manufacturing growth and educational partnerships.
