Jonathan Adam Pinson

Jonathan Adam Pinson is a Republican candidate for the West Virginia House of Delegates in District 17. He lives near Point Pleasant with his wife and children and works as a pastor and small farmer. Before getting into politics, Pinson worked in law enforcement for seven years with the City of Ripley, City of Ravenswood and Jackson County Sheriff?s Department. He later left law enforcement to work in ministry and continues to serve as a chaplain for the Mason County Sheriff?s Department. Pinson graduated from Ravenswood High School and West Virginia University at Parkersburg. He was first elected to the House of Delegates in 2020 and has been reelected since then. He currently serves as an assistant majority whip and chairs the House Government Administration Committee. During his time in the Legislature, he has worked on issues involving education, families, government and public safety. Pinson is running for another term in the House in 2026.
