George Street

George Street is a Republican member of the West Virginia House of Delegates representing District 83 in Preston County. He was first elected to the House in 2022 and is seeking reelection in 2026. Street lives in Masontown and works as an explosive ordnance technician and farmer. Before serving in the Legislature, he served in the U.S. Army and was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. He completed U.S. Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal training. Street has also been involved with several organizations in Preston County, including the Chamber of Commerce, Farm Bureau, Lions Club, Historical Society and VFW. His legislative work has included serving on committees focused on economic development, energy and manufacturing, environmental protection and government organization. During his time in the House, he has sponsored legislation involving issues such as unemployment benefits and drug testing. Street is running for another term representing District 83, which includes Preston County.
