Evan Worrell is the Republican incumbent representing the House of Delegates for District 23 in Cabell County in West Virginia. Worrell has represented in the House since 2019, first serving District 18 before later representing District 23.
During his time in the Legislature, Worrell has sponsored legislation involving health care, education and economic development. One of his 2025 bills concerning child-abuse penalties was signed by the governor, while other legislation remained pending.
Worrell worked as a healthcare data analytics consultant. He also serves on the House Finance, Health and Human Resources, Industry and Infrastructure, and Rules committees.
Worrell won the 2024 general election against the democratic candidate, Amanda Beth Beach-Burge, when he received 75.6% of the vote, and she received 24.4%. He also won the 2026 Republican primary unopposed and will face Beach-Burge again in the November general election.
