Edmund Lee Wagoner III, who goes by Eddie Wagoner, is the Democrat candidate running for the House of Delegates District 82 race. Wagoner earned a high school diploma from Hudson High School in Ohio. He received his bachelor?s degree from Columbia University in 2003 and his law degree from Ohio State University in 2007. He works as an attorney. According to his personal website, ?we need a strong foundation: great schools, modern infrastructure, and well-reasoned government policy.? Some of his biggest concerns are: reliable roads, investing in education, and justice for all. He is also interested in giving teachers a competitive pay and strengthening early education for students. He intends to fund construction and maintenance for Monongalia County roads and seek creative solutions to allow counties and municipalities to fund and maintain secondary roads. Although Wagoner is not opposed to technology or the economic opportunities it can bring to the state, he is against corporate handouts to data centers. He aims to protect West Virginia?s natural resources and restore local control. Wagoner is against flock cameras, as well. Wagoner will be running against Republican David Lee McCormick in this election.
