Caci Petrehn is a Parkersburg resident and Democratic candidate for the West Virginia Senate’s 3rd District. She has described herself as a working-class West Virginian, mother and community advocate and has said she was raised in a union family.
Petrehn attended West Virginia Junior College-Morgantown from 2013 to 2014, where her activities included the school’s Phlebotomy Club and Red Cross blood drives. A 2025 WTAP report identified Petrehn as a services coordinator with EVE Inc.
Before and during her Senate campaign, Petrehn has been active in Parkersburg community issues. She organized a January 2026 event opposing the city’s proposed sanitation contract and later spoke at City Council meetings about municipal services, infrastructure and government transparency.
Petrehn also serves as vice president of the Wood County Women’s Rights Alliance. In May 2026, she helped organize a candlelight vigil in Parkersburg honoring Gretchen Fleming, a Vienna woman whose disappearance had drawn significant attention in the community.
