W.Va. Supreme Court Justice Walker Spared in Impeachment Trial

West Virginia Supreme Court Justice Beth Walker has been spared in her impeachment trial and will remain in office. The verdict came after Senators deliberated for more than an hour over one article of impeachment accusing her and three other state Supreme Court justices of failing to provide administrative oversight. Dave Mistich has more.

President Donald Trump promised more environmental de-regulation at an event in Philadelphia. Trump was in town speaking to a group of electricians at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. StateImpact Pennsylvania’s Susan Phillips reports.

A federal appeals court threw out a major federal permit for the Mountain Valley Pipeline. As Brittany Patterson reports, until a new permit is issued, pipeline construction is barred through rivers and streams across much of West Virginia.

One of those stories was with two best friends, Bridgette Kidd and Mark Hatfield, who spoke about grief and finding a way forward after losing a loved one. Here’s part of their conversation.
