Rachel Lee Fetty-Anderson is the Democratic Party candidate for the West Virginia U.S. Senate Race. She was elected to the Morgantown City Council in 2017 and served until 2021. During this time, she tackled basic municipal issues including ensuring community members were comfortable during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Fetty-Anderson practices public interest law in West Virginia and obtained her license in 2010. She represents children and families, victims of domestic violence, students requiring special education services, family members trying to adopt or become guardians, and many other members of the community.
Fetty-Anderson has spent time volunteering at child adovocacy centers, the Fun Factory (the children?s museum of Morgantown, now Sparks), and currently Caritas House and 211.
