WVPB Wants To Hear From Independent Producers

Are you a talented independent producer or filmmaker eager to share your creative productions via West Virginia Public Broadcasting?

If so, we want to hear from you!

We want to partner with producers and filmmakers to showcase programs about West Virginia and Appalachian culture, history and current affairs. We want to feature your documentaries and dramatic works that tell a great story about West Virginia or West Virginians, or works that are produced by West Virginia filmmakers.

Have something to share?  Want to partner with us?

Please read on!

WVPB wants to receive your applications for new and innovative projects which serve our mission of telling West Virginia's story. Projects may air on any of our media platforms: West Virginia Public Broadcasting’s television network, the West Virginia Channel, our statewide public radio network and/or wvpublic.org.

These productions may include (but are not limited to)  video and audio documentaries; ongoing series; user-generated content; podcasts; video specials; live performances; interactive educational games; etc.

We’re sure you’ve got plenty of questions, so take a read of our FAQ’s for Independent Producers.

When you’re ready, here’s our Projects Application form.

Still have questions?  Feel free to contact Suzanne Higgins, WVPB Executive Producer, at shiggins@wvpublic.org.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
