W.Va. Tries to Combat Summer Food Insecurity Through Federal Program

It’s part of an ongoing investigation into the possible impeachment of one or more justices on the state’s high court. Senior Reporter Dave Mistich joins host Teresa Wills to bring us the latest.

One in five children in West Virginia experiences food insecurity. The state has earned high marks for feeding kids during the school year, but only a fraction of them use the summer food program. As Molly Born reports from southern West Virginia, transportation in the state’s most isolated areas can be a significant challenge.
