Nonprofits have until June 1 to apply for federal disaster loans for property damage resulting from a March storm.
The deadline to apply for economic injury loans is Dec. 31.
The U.S. Small Business Administration says the incident period for the disaster declaration has been revised to March 3-14. The declaration covers 32 counties.
The SBA is offering low-interest disaster loans to nonprofits that don’t provide critical services, such as food kitchens, homeless shelters and libraries.
Nonprofits can apply for loans online at the SBA’s secure website, https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela .
The storm brought heavy snow and rain, knocked out power to more than 80,000 customers and causes flooding, landslides and mudslides.
