Listen

On this West Virginia Morning, we meet the Division 2 candidates running for the West Virginia Supreme Court. Plus, we answer some of your voting questions, and we bring you a report on reopening concerns in the Ohio Valley.

Workers across the Ohio Valley are facing difficult choices now that states are gradually reopening workplaces. Many don’t feel safe going back to work and adding to the anxiety is the uncertainty about the enforcement of safety standards for businesses that are welcoming customers back. Becca Schimmel has more.

On Monday, we heard from the candidates running for Division 1 of the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals. Now we’ll learn about the four candidates running in Division 2. As Dave Mistich reports, candidates from Division 2 have expressed remarkably different ideas about what the state’s high court should focus on.

Our news team has been fielding questions from outside and inside the newsroom during the voting season. Glynis Board spoke with Brittany Patterson about some basic voting questions. Here’s some of their conversation.
