Dunlap Appointed W.Va. Chief Technology Officer

John Dunlap has been named West Virginia’s chief technology officer.

Gov. Jim Justice announced Dunlap’s appointment Monday.

Dunlap currently serves as director of networking engineering and architecture for the West Virginia Office of Technology.

In his new role, he will direct more than 200 workers in the agency.

Justice says he wants Dunlap to “find ways to make our state more efficient and save the taxpayers money through the use of technology.
