Former President Bill Clinton will give the keynote address during the West Virginia Democratic Party's biggest annual dinner.

  Former secretary of defense and CIA Director Leon Panetta will headline West Virginia Democrats' biggest annual event.

State Democrats announced Wednesday that Panetta will be the keynote speaker at next month's Jefferson-Jackson Dinner.

Panetta served as defense secretary from 2011 to 2013, and CIA director from 2009 to 2011. He managed the military operation that led to Osama bin Laden's death in 2011.

This week, it was the Democratic Party’s turn to raise money, but also pay tribute to a man who has served the state for 50 years.
