On this West Virginia Morning, renovation work is underway on the Holly Grove mansion, the oldest surviving residence on the state capitol complex after several decades of plans.
If you’ve visited the West Virginia Capitol Complex lately – perhaps over the Fourth of July festivities – you may have noticed construction work underway in the old building next to the Governor’s mansion. Maria Young caught up with Robert Kilpatrick with the Department of Administration, to find out more about the project – and plans for the historic building.
Also Huntington City Council approved the implementation of a new surveillance program in the early hours of Tuesday and two groups on opposite ends of the electric power generation debate have come out against a new power plant proposed for northern West Virginia.
