LISTEN: Seth Glier on Mountain Stage

Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Seth Glier’s latest album “Birds” was written from a very personal place, but based on his growing popularity, the album has a broad appeal.

In this week’s Mountain Stage Song of the Week, Glier sings “Water On Fire,” a reflection on natural resources, industry, and commercialism during his second appearance on Mountain Stage, recorded last October.

You’ll hear Glier’s entire set, plus performances by Emily Saliers of Indigo Girls, Overcoats, Becca Mancari and Anders Parker, on this week’s encore broadcast. We’ll also welcome our special guest-host, Tony Award winning Broadway actor, and West Virginia native, Michael Cerveris, who was most recently featured on TV’s Gotham.
