West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin says residents can visit a website that’s been set up to keep everyone informed about flood recovery and volunteer efforts.

Tomblin said in a news release that users can find recovery resources and link people who want to help with the most urgent needs.

The release said the website — http://www.WVFLOOD.com — is updated daily with information from the state Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and Volunteer West Virginia, in partnership with West Virginia Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster.

Donations to help communities affected by last month’s floods are being accepted through the website and coordinated by the volunteer group, which represents 40 state and regional organizations.
