Who would be a leader in this wicked world? Award-winning political drama House of Cards is a delicious tale of greed, corruption and burning ambition. At its heart is Francis Urquhart, a black-hearted villain with a smiling face, who shares with the viewers his estranged humour and innermost thoughts to destroy each of his political rivals. In Season 2, To Play The King, Urquhart is now Prime Minister with a slim majority in Parliament. His first job is to increase his party’s standing with the general public. But as well as a new Prime Minister, the country also has a new King–a liberal who seems determined to oppose Urquhart at every turn.
