Mountain Stage with Larry Groce welcomes Lee Ann Womack, Caitlyn Smith, The Travelin’ McCourys, Haley Heynderickx, and Anthony da Costa to Mountain Stage this Sunday in Charleston.

UPDATE: 2:20p.m. Saturday June 2. 

Online ticketing has been restored, however all Ticketfly users will need to reset their password before purchasing tickets. $20 tickets will still be available for purchase on show day beginning at 5 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Culture Center.

Online ticketing is currently unavailable, and advanced tickets have sold out at Taylor Books. There will be tickets available on Sunday at the Culture Center Theater starting at 5p.m. Since we don’t know yet when the ticketing service may be restored, we will be offering tickets on show day at the advance ticket price of $20.

If you purchased tickets to Sunday’s show online, please be prepared to show your confirmation e-mail as this may serve as your ticket. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

This Sunday, June 3^rd, Mountain Stage welcomes Lee Ann Womack to the Culture Center Theater, along with Caitlyn Smith, The Travelin’ McCourys, Haley Heynderickx, and Anthony da Costa. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show starts at 7:00 pm. 

There are still tickets available at $20 in advance or $35 day of show. You can purchase them online or locally at Taylor Books, located on Capitol Street in downtown Charleston. 

Lee Ann Womack’s most recent album, The Lonely, The Lonesome, & The Gone, was recorded in Houston at SugarHill Recording Studios and produced by her husband, Frank Liddell. A showcase of her love for rootsy music, the album brings together sounds of country, soul, gospel, and blues.

Caitlyn Smith has a busy weekend on her hands as she opens for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill at the Charleston Civic Center on Friday night before joining us on Sunday. In recent years Smith has become a thriving songwriter with her songs being recorded by the likes of James Bay, Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton, and John Legend. Now, she takes the stage on her own with her recently released her album Starfire.

The Travelin’ McCourys, know a thing or two about bluegrass. As the sons of legend, Del McCoury, Ronnie and Rob bring along their well-versed abilities and tie them in with that of fiddler Jason Carter and bassist Alan Bartram, to create something that lovers of bluegrass appreciate to its core. The McCoury family was recently featured on NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday.

Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Haley Heynderickx has been taking over after being named an NPR Music Slingshot Artist for 2018 at the beginning of this year. In March, she released her expressive album I Need to Start a Garden and has been touring throughout the US.

We’ll also be welcoming Anthony Da Costa, who presents his songwriting abilities on his 2017 album da Costa Deluxe. Anthony is a veteran touring guitarist who has appeared on Mountain Stage with several different artists, but we’re excited to have him perform a set of his own material for the first time.

If there’s one thing for sure, this show is going to be a stacked collection of talent that you won’t want to miss. Our radio audience will hear this show starting September 7 on over 200 NPR Stations.
