This week’s premiere broadcast of Mountain Stage features Cyril Neville along with Omari Neville & the Fuel, Los Straitjackets with Deke Dickerson, Sons of Town Hall, and Amanda Pascali, all welcomed by host Kathy Mattea.
Our Song of the Week is “The Sun,” by acclaimed bilingual singer-songwriter Amanda Pascali. She made her Mountain Stage debut with a powerful performance showcasing how she seamlessly blends Americana influences with Mediterranean, Balkan, and Latin rhythm. Her latest is called “Roses and Basil.”
Tune in to an affiliate station near you starting Friday, April 17 to hear Amanda’s full set, plus more live performances by legendary percussionist, songwriter, and vocalist Cyril Neville backed by his son Omari Neville & The Fuel, Surf City rockers Los Straitjackets with rockabilly ring-leader Deke Dickerson, and transatlantic duo Sons of Town Hall.
