Making A Living From Folk Music And Our Song Of The Week, This West Virginia Morning

Listen

On this West Virginia Morning, folk music isn’t the easiest way to make a living, but Appalachia is full of talented musicians. For this week’s Inside Appalachia, host Mason Adams spoke with a few at the MidMountain Arts Collective in Rockbridge County, Virginia.

And our Mountain Stage Song of the Week comes from Ed Snodderly, who performed “Gone with Gone and Long Time,” accompanied by the Mountain Stage Band and Lisa Pattison on fiddle and vocals.
