We’re all excited to welcome our next special guest-host, television and Broadway star, and West Virginia native, Michael Cerveris on Sunday October 22. We certainly aren’t the only ones filling his dance card these days. Known widely for his role on TV’s “Fringe” and his Tony winning performance in Broadway’s “Fun Home,” Cerveris has been seen recently as Ramses IV on Amazon Prime’s reboot of the super-hero comedy “The Tick.” News also broke recently that the hit FOX TV show “Gotham” has cast Cerveris to play Professor Pyg in the show’s upcoming fourth season, returning September 21.
With all that villainy out of his system, it’ll be friendly neighborhood guest-hosting for Cerveris on Sunday October 22 when he comes back to WV to host Mountain Stage as part of FestivALL Fall. The lineup will showcase the first solo-performance by the Indigo Girls’ Emily Saliers, indie-pop duo Overcoats and just announced, return appearances from former Varnaline and Gob Iron member Anders Parker, seasoned pop songsmith Seth Glier, and the first appearance from atmospheric Americana artist Becca Mancari.
Tickets for October 22 are $30 in advance, available online, by phone at 877.987.6487, or locally at Taylor Books in downtown Charleston. Be sure to check out the FestivALL Fall schedule for a list of events from Oct. 20-22.
Of course, that’s not all. One glimpse at our live-show schedule reveals we have seven events on-sale, which means seven unique opportunities to see an old favorite or discover your next musical adventure.
If you make a sustaining gift of at least$10 a month as a Mountain Stage Member, you’ll get seven days of pre-sale access to all our Culture Center shows, including our upcoming 34th Anniversary celebration, Sunday December 3.

On this West Virginia Morning, you might not think of western North Carolina when you think of rice. But the region is home to several varieties of heirloom rice that made their way here from Laos nearly five decades ago.
