'Glee' Star Serenades Viewers with Variety of Songs

Watch Matthew Morrison: A Classic Christmas Live From The Bushnell Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. on WV PBS

In this live concert recorded at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford, Conn., Emmy®, Tony® and Golden Globe®-nominated star Matthew Morrison serenades viewers with a set of classic Christmas songs and a collection of standards, many first made famous in Broadway musicals.

Morrison takes viewers on a Christmas journey with several of his favorite holiday classics. “I’m singing the timeless ‘O Holy Night,’ as well as the ageless yet youthful ‘Jingle Bell Rock,’” he says. “I also have this great passion for Hawaii. One of my first singing gigs was performing backing vocals for Don Ho when I was in high school. So I sing ‘Mele Kalikimaka’ with my ukulele! It was important for me to throw some great holiday spirit into this special.”

Matthew Morrison: A Classic Christmas Live From The Bushnell features these performances:

  • “It Don’t Mean a Thing”
  • “The Lady Is a Tramp”
  • “Come Rain or Come Shine”/“Basin Street Blues”
