The National Foundation to End Senior Hunger is hoping to bring to light the issue of senior hunger and nutrition by creating a pilot program in McDowell County that the organization hopes will be replicated across Appalachia and the country. The Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine announced they have been approved to start a psychiatry residency program, which will become only the third in the state to train the specialists.
