Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital was dedicated in Parkersburg on April 16, 1920. Its roots date back to the old City Hospital, a 40-bed facility that opened in 1898 on present 13th Street. It also operated a nursing school.

On West Virginia Morning, Jessica Lilly talks with the father of one of the victims of the Upper Big Branch mine explosion who welcomes the news that former CEO of the company that owned the mine has been indicted.  And Dave Mistich reports from Parkersburg about the posted signs asking people not to give money to panhandlers.

A bridge linking Parkersburg and Belpre, Ohio, is shutting down for repairs. The Memorial Bridge will close Monday. Repairs are expected to be completed in two weeks.

 The $182,000 project includes replacing an expansion join and about 400 square feet of concrete deck.

 The bridge spanning the Ohio River opened in 1954.
