The West Virginia House of Delegates has passed a bill that would expand a work requirement for some people who receive federal food assistance. House Bill 4001 would create a workforce requirement for able-bodied adults without dependents who receive food benefits through the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, also known as SNAP.
