Antiques Roadshow 2014 Tour Includes Charleston, W.Va.
Antiques Roadshow, West Virginia PBS’s most-watched primetime series, has announced its Summer 2014 Tour destinations, including its first stop in West Virginia.
The show is scheduled to come to Charleston's Civic Center on Aug. 16.
"Our mission is to tell West Virginia's story, and this visit from Antiques Roadshow will help that story reach millions of viewers," said Scott Finn, executive director of West Virginia Public Broadcasting. "We West Virginians love our history, and this should be a spectacular show.”
“This is a big deal for the show’s loyal West Virginia fans who have been asking Antiques Roadshow to come to our state since its premiere 18 years ago,” Finn said.
This year's tour invites almost 50,000 fans to join the production as it travels across the country on the search for America’s next hidden treasure.
Admission to Antiques Roadshow events is free, but tickets are required and must be obtained in advance. Ticket applications and complete ticketing rules will be available on pbs.org/antiques or by dialing toll-free 1-888-762-3749 beginning at 9 p.m. today.
Ticket applications must be received by Monday, April 7, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Tickets will be awarded by random drawing. Additional information about the Summer 2014 Tour is available at pbs.org/antiques.

The broadcast programs developed from the Summer 2014 tour will air on Antiques Roadshow’s 19th season beginning January 2015.
